As part of the review, the boundary of the Ropsley conservation area has been assessed and the following amendments are being proposed: Extension of the boundary to include 26 and 30 Chapel Hill, Holly Cottage and adjacent barn, Humby Road, Ropsley Rectory and garden, Ropsley Primary School, School Lane, and 2 and 4 School Lane and any properties formerly only partially included. Amendment of the boundary to exclude 2-4 Peck Hill and 16-18 Chapel Hill. The proposed amendments rationalises the conservation area boundary and acknowledges areas of green open space and a small number of historic buildings to the south of the village that make a positive contribution to the conservation area.
