Regulation 16 - Consultation on the Hough on the Hill Neighbourhood Plan Review
The reviewed Hough on the Hill Neighbourhood Plan has been produced by Hough on the Hill Parish Council in consultation with residents, businesses, landowners and other stakeholder organisations. The Neighbourhood Plan Review covers the Civil Parish of Hough on the Hill and seeks to guide the future development of the parish until 2036. It includes a vision and a set of objectives for the parish, as well as a series of neighbourhood wide policies. Hough on the Hill Parish Council submitted its proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan and supporting evidence to South Kesteven District Council on the 30 May 2025. In accordance with the amended Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the District Council has made an initial assessment of the Neighbourhood Plan Review and the supporting documents and is satisfied that these comply with the specified criteria.

Further Information
Once this consultation period has closed, South Kesteven District Council will appoint a qualified, independent person to conduct an examination of the draft Neighbourhood Plan Review. All comments received as part of this consultation will be forwarded, with the Neighbourhood Plan Review and supporting documents, to the examiner for their consideration. The examiner will produce a report setting out their findings and recommendations. The report will either recommend that the Neighbourhood Plan Review is submitted to a referendum, the Neighbourhood Plan is modified and then submitted to a referendum, or that the Plan proposal is refused. South Kesteven District Council will then consider the report and decide whether it is satisfied with the examiner’s recommendations. The Council will publicise its decision on whether or not the plan will be submitted to a referendum, with or without modifications.
