Regulation 16 - Consultation on the Barrowby Neighbourhood Plan

The Barrowby Neighbourhood Plan has been produced by Barrowby Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group in consultation with residents, businesses, landowners and other stakeholder organisations. The Neighbourhood Plan covers the whole of Barrowby Parish and seeks to guide the future development of the parish until 2040. It includes a vision and a set of objectives for the parish, as well as a series of neighbourhood wide policies.

Barrowby Parish Council submitted its proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan and supporting evidence to South Kesteven District Council on the 19 September 2025.

In accordance with the amended Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the District Council has made an initial assessment of the Neighbourhood Plan and the supporting documents and is satisfied that these comply with the specified criteria.

Consultation on the Proposed Neighbourhood Plan

The public consultation took place between Thursday 29th January 2026 and Friday 13th March 2026. The consultation is now closed.
