Climate change takes care of Carbon emission from household energy consumption after good insulation policy as I will be please to live in a warmer country and use less heating energy.
This is no excuse to allow the District to be littered with PV panels on the believe they will be removed after ~40 years and everything will be back to as it was.
Our children will be cursing us all in the future, for not spotting the 'Emperors new cloths' when they out of there own public pocket have to clear up.

SKDC has declared a climate emergency, but as a resident it does not seem to be addressing the issue seriously enough especially with regard to long term planning, housing development, transport, protection of green spaces. It seems to be rather inward looking and concentrating on what the Council can do rather than being more ambitious and taking it's residents with it

This passed year I have seen flooding at the bottom of SKPR-241 Church Lane paddocks, this will be to do with climate change. Previous planning applications have stated that its unlikely this site can discharge directly into Running Furrows Drain. Building on this site will cause more flooding in Great Gonerby as the water has to go somewhere. The village has already been giving sand bags out to villagers so they can protect there properties. Since the build of the Easthorpes site, the drains keep blocking up throughout the village, the drainage system can't take anymore houses.

SKDC can do nothing whatsoever that will affect climate change. However, it can do a great deal to improve the environment. Conflating the two is an on-going error.
