You have stated in the plan that you predict the population of SKDC will rise from 143,400 to 154,833 by 2041, a difference of 11,433. The average household size in SKDC IS 2.3 (Taken from ONS figures from drilled down data sets for SKDC from the 2021 census). This means the housing requirement for this population growth would be 4971 dwellings, yet you have outlined developments for 14,020 dwellings with a further 20% contingency which would bring the total to 16,824, over 3 times more than required. How have you calculated this?

I think calculations in relation to population growth and houses needed is totally wrong. You state for larger villages you support infill housing in already built up areas. Well, SKPR-241 are green fields, part of your Green Infrastructure Strategy, its marked as historic interest, it has TPOs to the boundary, hedges and stone walling dating back well over 200 years and it will undoubtedly have a permanent and detrimental impact on the areas landscape, infrastructure, heritage and biodiversity. The visual character of the village approaching the conservation area will impacted. This area has not been properly thought about. NEEDS REMOVING

Stamford is overpopulated as it is and the pressure on infrastructure is becoming unsupportable.
Why not new towns on disused, or soon to be disused, military bases?

The estimated population growth from 143,400 to 154,833 justifies the concerns raised in Sustainability. 1.19 1.20

Will the outstanding Sustainability reports address the biggest areas of concern raised by all residents including
i. a detailed feedback from the NHS as to how service providers will meet the needs of the increasing population? Acute care, elective patient care, diagnostics, maternity care, dementia care, mental health care, GPs, dentists and paediatrics?

ii. Air quality impact and traffic flows into and out of the Market towns and in the areas directly neighbouring the growth sites identified?

The increased population will require access to all of the services highlighted which are NOT being delivered in the plans.
2.18 This is true of all of the Market towns with the issues highlighted being common across the District.
