The town cannot be made more visually attractive with heavy commercial vehicles occupying the town centre.
Sustainable is currently based on north south connectivity between Morton and Peterborough/Stamford. Public transport is needed between the town and the district hub – Grantham. Any development to develop cycling and walking would be very difficult without reducing the traffic in the town centre. The biggest reason to not cycle is safety, or the lack of it!

Bourne Town Centre is full of empty shops which need to be turned into affordable housing from which residents can walk to work, shop and socialise creating a vibrant town centre.
