I strongly disagree with the allocation of SKPR-247 on the grounds that there has been enough development in Corby Glen as a result of the current Local Plan. The fabric of a predominantly rural village will be lost if there are another 144 houses built here. I feel that Corby Glen should be spared any large scale development until the village has settled from the 290 new homes already under construction or at the next review of the Local Plan.

Instead of construction companies abusing the village infrastructure, they themselves should look in out lying villages and invest money in developing them and the infrastructure needed in those villages, which will help uplift those small communities. But they won't do this because this comes at a cost to them, so less profits, which is what this boils done to, this will not benefit our Corby Glen community, it will only benefit profits.

Corby Glen and the outlying area is seen as a conservation area, so how building 350 houses and then a further 144 houses helps a conservation area, I certainly can't work that out and you don't need qualifications to work that out. I raise this concern, as on numerous occasions a local councilmen reminds a number us everytime we cut back our trees have we got permission to do so. Well building 494 new dwellings certainly does more damage to our environment than some of us cutting back a tree.
