Representation Summary:

Some of the sites within the Local Plan Review are due to fall within Welland & Deepings Internal Drainage Board’s area, meaning it is therefore likely that the Board’s byelaws will apply to some or all of these sites.
The Board’s byelaws consist of and are specific to:
• The 9 metre byelaw distance – the most pertinent byelaw in relation to development sites.
• The discharge of either surface water or treated water (effluent).
• The alteration of a watercourse.
A full copy of the Board’s byelaws can be found on our website via this link: Legislation | Welland and Deepings Internal Drainage Board (wellandidb.org.uk) The Board will provide site specific comments upon each of the development locations proposed within our area when formal planning applications are received by South Kesteven District Council and Welland & Deepings Internal Drainage Board are subsequently notified of them.
