Gypsy, Traveller, and Travelling Showpeople Call for Sites 2024

Introduction

National Planning Guidance places a requirement on local authorities to assess accommodation need of Gypsy, Traveller, and Travelling Showpeople communities. As part of the Local Plan review process the Council needs to establish what land is available to meet the need within the District. This is considered through a call for sites process.

South Kesteven District Council is reopening the Call for Sites seeking information on potential sites for consideration through the Local Plan Review, this can include:

•    New sites;
•    Extensions to existing sites; and
•    New pitches on existing sites.

Site submissions can be made between Thursday 29th February 2024 and Thursday 25th April 2024 by completing the online form.

For site submissions you will need to register and complete a separate form for each site that you wish to put forward for assessment.

Once you have started a form, your progress will be saved automatically allowing you to complete it at a later date. Any forms that have not been submitted can be accessed by going to 'My account' and selecting 'Drafts'.

You can view and print your completed site submissions by going to 'My account' and selecting the 'Unprocessed' tab. A print button is available for each form submission.
