Proposed allocation of 455 Dwellings. Multiple landownerships creating potential legal delays/constraints. This scale of development would significantly extend the built form to the south, alternating the character of the settlement raising potential landscape impact constraints.
It would therefore be preferable to allocate a more even proportion of sites across the District to mitigate the risk of any under delivery.

We welcome the principle of developing a comprehensive masterplan for the entire area. Given that this site is close to the SRN, we welcome that the elements of the Transport Assessment to assess impacts on the SRN are agreed upon with National Highways.

As a resident who has lived in Barrowby for 50 years, I feel very strongly to more planning proposals, ie; SKPR-272 & SKPR- 327.
We have horrendous parking issues in the village particularly at school times. Leaving the village on Rectory Lane involves driving round a blind bend on the wrong side of the road.
We will have more cars around the playground & the coffee shop & school.
The infrastructure will not cope with the hundreds of vehicles. Access & egress on these country roads are dangerous & will lead to accidents.
We already have a huge housing estate on Reedings Road, we can’t cope with any more.
