The site is to the north of the Conservation Area and Grade I Church of St Nicholas, at the entrance to the village. There are concerns regarding the setting of the Church of St Nicholas, views into towards the spire and from the churchyard. An assessment should test views looking south towards the church and looking N from outside south porch (churchyard elevated). The intervening structures on the Northern side of the church are noted but concerns remain subject to assessment.
Criteria c) of policy SKPR-242 is noted.
