Proposed Housing and Mixed-Use Site Allocations
SKPR-271 (LV-H2): Wilsford Lane
Representation ID: 3492
Received: 27/08/2025
Respondent: Environment Agency
The proposed site allocation will be connecting to Ancaster Water Recycling Centre. Therefore, we recommend the following is included as a principle:
'Additional treatment capacity is required at waste water treatment works and new discharge permits are required for water quality targets. This should be incorporated early on in the development of scheme specifics, as part of a scheme wide delivery strategy which demonstrates that capacity is available or could be made available to serve the development subject to phasing'.

We would like to highlight that since this site was allocated, the flood map for planning has been updated and the high risk flood zone 3 area has increased to the north of the site.
Therefore, we request an additional principle to ensure that no built development takes place in the high flood risk areas.
