Furthermore the perception that the roads are remotely able to manage any more traffic, and particularly through the indicated areas is frankly ludicrous. I would urge the council to reject this proposal

The Gonerby Hill Foot Community Group have submitted documentation to SKDC. I am happy for this submission to represent my objection. My main concern is the infrastructure, the roads are not capable of taking the amount of traffic the houses planned would generate. The roads are too narrow and are liable to flooding now.

Also being a young family where are our children going to explore and play your ruining our countryside, that’s why we chose to live in Gonerby hill foot and now your willing to ruin it for us and the next generation just for money! It’s so important to be outdoors and walk and explore where will we be able to do that? We will have to drive somewhere! Not good for the environment

Proposed site SKPR-57 - Land off Belton Lane - encroaches into the Parish of Great Gonerby, therefore merging the Village with the Town of Grantham. Great Gonerby is a larger village. A green belt separates Great Gonerby from Grantham. We hold no policitical association with Grantham and choose to remain a Village - not a suburb.

I completely object this proposal. Firstly there are so many houses being built around Grantham without the services to support the extra population this will add. The traffic congestion is awful already so this will only add to the traffic jams, and other pollution this will create. It will disrupt and kill all the wildlife that lives there. The access to this site is extremely poor as these are narrow steep roads where people already park on the road. Finally we don't want the area to be disturbed by works, rubbish housing and mud!

The negative impact on the area, its heritage sites of Belton House and Park, as well as views of St. Wulfram's church and devastation to local wildlife, trees and fauna makes me shake my head in disbelief that the site was considered. There are brownfield sites that would be much better, with new roads already in place. Gonerby Hill Foot cannot cope with the extra traffic, pollution and pressure on infrastructure in an area prone to flooding.

Grantham cannot support a dramatic increase in population with existing residents unable to access face to face doctor appointments and a total lack of NHS dentists. The town is full of empty shops or charity shops. The advertising brochures by developers portray a utopian environment.
